Telecourses
Mercer's options for distance learners include Telecourses. Students learn independently by watching video segments, reading materials, completing assignments and taking tests. Faculty and students communicate by mail, phone, email, and in person by appointment.
You can access your course 4 ways:
- Watch Cable Channel 26 at scheduled times (in Mercer County only)
- Watch Verizon Fios Channel 20 at scheduled times (in Mercer County only)
- Borrow videotapes from the MCCC library
- Purchase HPE111 DVD's from Mercer's Bookstore
Warning: Distance Learning is not for everyone. Successful distance learners are self motivated and committed to investing time in their course, assignment completion and study. Distance learners should plan to attend the orientations.
